Privacy Policy for DealScan

This Privacy Policy describes how DealScan ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use https://www.reviewagreement.com (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account data: your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your name and profile picture, used to create and secure your account and to send transactional email (sign-in links, receipts, important updates).

Contracts and deal inputs: the contract documents you upload or paste, and the deal details you enter (offered fee, deliverable, platform, usage tier, niche). This is the core content the Service analyzes.

Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store your Stripe customer reference, plan, and credit balance to manage your access.

Technical data: authentication cookies needed to keep you signed in, and basic request logs (such as IP address) for security and abuse prevention. We don't use advertising trackers.

2. How we use your information

- To run your analyses: your contract text is processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the report. Per Anthropic's API terms, this data is not used to train their models.
- To operate your account, billing, and support.
- To improve our rate benchmarks using de-identified, aggregated deal terms (e.g., typical fee ranges per deliverable) — never in a form that identifies you or the brand on the other side of your contract.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.

3. Where your data lives and how it's protected

Contracts are stored in a private storage bucket accessible only to your account, served via short-lived signed URLs. Account and analysis data live in our database (hosted on Supabase) with row-level security scoping every record to its owner.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the processors required to run the Service: Supabase (hosting/database/storage), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (analysis), and Resend (transactional email). Each receives only what it needs.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account — including every uploaded contract and analysis — anytime from the billing page; deletion is immediate and irreversible. You can also request deletion or a copy of your data at hello@reviewagreement.com.

6. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices; significant changes will be announced by email to account holders.
